Okay, so we had the first ultrasound done last Monday. As of today my wife is 13 weeks and 2 days along - still too early to tell the baby's gender.
She still has difficulty keeping food down, which many people (none of whom are doctors) tell me is a sign that the foetus is strong and healthy. I hope that's indeed the case because my wife is not enjoying the daily chucking of her lunch.

My 3 1/2 year old daughter seems to understand what's going on - she knows there's a baby growing in her mother's tummy and she kisses it and says "hello, baby brother". She's adamant about having a brother. With all the fuss she's making, I really hope it's a boy.
